pre 1953 (probably wartime) embroidered badge of the East Lancs Reg. Framed and glazed in perspex, good strong colours on a hesian / course cotton type material base, centre measures 210 x 180mm, overal frame size measures 360 x 310mm
hand made in what feels like a carpet wool through a hessian cloth base. 6th Battalion DLI initials to the left with the date 1915 on right, national flags of Belgium, France and United Kingdom, with stylised blue and red crosses either side. The initials J & F in the centre area would most probably be the originator of the piece. A WW1 period item,
