  QUEEN’S WORK FOR WOMEN MEDAL

  A circular silver and enamel medal surmounted by a King's crown. The blue enamel surround bears the wording 'Queen's Work for Women Medal' with an inner inscription 'Presented by the Gentlewoman'. The inner circle has a crossed golf putter and driver with a golf ball between, pin back with no maker mark, some wear with no enamel chips, pin has lost it's spring. A very rare badge

  a Women's Voluntary Services Home Front Badge. Chromed badge with red enamel to the lettering and post 1953 Queen Elizabeth Crown, the reverse has maker's name W.J.Dingley Ltd of 77 Warstone Lane Birmingham 18. Good used condition with some light surface scratches to the metal, original pin fittings and no damage to the enamel
