Indian General Service Medal North West Frontier 1908 Bar with 1914 Mons Star and Bar trio to 1120 Private William Baker, 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers and Machine Gun Corps.
William Baker was born in Shotesham St Mary in Norfolk, Joined the 1st Batt NF in 1911 and served in India, In France on 13th August 1914, he became a member of the MGC. No further information on WW1 military service, in 1939 he is recorded as being a Warden of the Air Raid Precaution at Saxlingham Green. William Baker died in 1957.
