During the Second World War, an Italian prisoner of war camp (no. 282) was located near Brissenden Green, the precise location is believed to be Honghorst House, the camp was associated with another at Woodchurch, near Tenterden in Kent
pre 1953 (probably wartime) embroidered badge of the East Lancs Reg. Framed and glazed in perspex, good strong colours on a hesian / course cotton type material base, centre measures 210 x 180mm, overal frame size measures 360 x 310mm
4th Queens Royal Hussars mess belt, early 1900s gilt openwork two part clasp with white metal regimental badges to each side, gold coloured bullion belt with dark blue leather backing.
Outstanding condition with some wear but minimal damage
